Women's Ministry

Women's Ministry

Our mission is to befriend women and give them a place to belong so they will believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and we are committed to growing personally and helping other women become more like Him.

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
not giving up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one
another -- and all the more as you see the Day approaching."   Hebrews 10:24-25

Who We Are and What We Do

The Women's Ministry Team  of Southside Baptist Church serves as under the "umbrella" of the church's efforts to provide many opportunities designed for women of all ages within our church and community to grow and serve others.   This team of volunteer women meets at least one time every other month to plan ways and provide occasions to fulfill the mission established by them in 2012.  To reach women outside the church, we strive to  offer a plethora of activities/opportunities to offer Christian fellowship and sisterhood. By  befriending others, we can meet personal, emotional and spiritual needs.  In today's world, we believe this is the way we can reach more women for Christ.  Through reaching  other women, we reach their children, families, and friends. We must draw more Christian women of all ages within the church to accept greater involvement to glorify God. We work collaboratively withWMU in their mission work in the church, community, state, nation, and world.
